![]() You mentioned set ups and with Sevens you don't get those free hits like in Elevens. Plus one turns are always a threat and I really like projectile vomit in a pinch. Four 4ST is super good, but not good enough sadly. You have 4MA so you're gonna hit and crawl up the field. I ran Black Orcs without the troll and found myself really lacking. I think your build is the best, personally. You don't get the rerolls you potentially need, you don't get the skills you really need, and you don't get the inducements like bribes you can strongly benefit from. My obligatory plug for the growing and relatively unknown /r/bloodbowlsevens community aside.īlack Orcs, I've found, is weird in Sevens. They're hardier than normal goblins, but not by much. Likewise, be sure to keep your goblins away from getting hit as much as possible. Then again, with 7s it can be trickier to get assists. Perhaps see if you can get an extra goblin on the team, try to do some fouling with them? Things will be a lot easier if you can remove a player or two. Caging up and protecting the ball is probably your best bet, though that's a little tricky playing 7s, and with a somewhat unreliable troll on your hands (And throw teammate is always going to be a long shot unless you've got a bunch of rerolls and luck, which you may not with 7s). ![]() They are good in the Strength department, but their low speed is a real problem. That said, Black Orcs are going to be a challenging team to succeed with. There will be three-month long seasons, too, and completing the 50-hour Blood Pass will grant you rewards, as is the live-service penchant at present. It’s unclear exactly how this will work at present, but in our interview about developer Cyanide Studio’s year one plans, project manager Gautierd Brésard told us that all new teams would be free to unlock with enough gameplay, and I would assume that goes for some cosmetics, too. ![]() You don’t have many cosmetic options when you start (and the gender parity is even worse), however, you’ll have to unlock them using in-game currency. Your player Bob McHead is celebrating with your weird goatwoman cheerleader in your stadium. The same goes for scoring – the customisable players, cheerleaders, and crowds make your celebrations feel truly yours. ![]() Your punches land with crunches, your kicks with impressive thuds, and your elbow drops with explosions of stylised viscera. Thanks to its more realistic graphics and slow-mo replays of your most vicious takedowns, killing, maiming, or otherwise incapacitating your opponents has never felt better. In this way, Blood Bowl 3 is a great success. You can get bogged down in the details, creating perfect formations and foolproof strategies – and many do – but at its heart, Blood Bowl is about scoring touchdowns and injuring as many of your opponents as possible in the process. Some players, like Throwers, are better at passing. Each turn, your players can choose from a list of actions, like running, blocking (tackling), passing, or blitzing. ![]()
